The new WordPress based website is more dynamic and easy to use. Find out what New Orleans / New York painter Frenchy is up to and where he’ll be next. Browse his prolific gallery for your favorite works or see if the painting he was wildly creating at a concert or event you attended is now available.

In addition to news, events, and paintings the new Frenchy Live site engages users through social networking hooks and also set out on the ambitious task of archiving all of the artists works. The Frenchy Archive Project is asking owners and fans to upload high resolution images of paintings they own, but are not present on the site. The mission is have every piece of work accounted for.

One of the site’s new highlights are the sale of Giclee Prints, an easy, high-quality, and affordable way to acquire a Frenchy original. The website also expedites the inquiry process for both finding artwork or commissioning Frenchy for your next major event.

Frenchy is the passionate and exciting performance painter from New Orleans, Louisiana. Thriving in the rich and vibrant atmosphere of the French Quarter, he harnesses this energy to produce works of unmatched color and vitality. Frenchy is secured to capture the fun and flavor of the Louisiana Cook-Off, a competition between 25 of the state’s most renowned chefs to raise money for the James Beard Foundation. Only The King of Oak Street’s paintings can match the energy of Louisiana’s culinary elite. It is Frenchy’s duty to record the chef’s passion and flare on canvas. His original piece, painted during the competition, will be sold at auction that same night with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the James Beard Foundation. The amazing quality of Giclee prints are now available in limited edition for select paintings. Only 100 prints per painting will be available.
